Bake something, so the house smells nice. Cut out hearts from printer paper, color them…or write all the reasons you love him. Scatter them on the floor to the bedroom or on the bed. Or have a beer ready when he gets home. If he showers when he gets home, warm his towel in the dryer before he gets out.
EDIT: yeah, to the girl above me! For lunch, I got a heart shaped pizza from Papa Murphy’s!
can u cook for him a nice meal? or else u can light the living room with some candles and make it a nice atmosphere.. or maybe buy something online that they can deliver then and then without u having to go out.
Call out for dinner delivery, even if its just pizza. Light some candles and turn the lights down low and just enjoy dinner and conversation.
Happy Valentine’s Day!
Make him a nice dinner and bake his favorite treats. Or if you are crafty you could make him a homemade card. If you really want something bought, either call a friend and have them pick it up and you pay them, or shop online (but whatever you get will get to him late). Happy V-day!
Cooking his favorite dish- if possible.
Printing a picture or a collage of the two of you and putting it in a picture frame, if you have one. If you want to, you can even hand paint the fram to make it extra special.
Make “coupon” with things like “Dinner for two,” “One big hug.” “Day of relaxation.” and other ideas specific to your relationship. He can trade them in later on.
Write him a letter or a poem telling him just how much you love him.
Your own two hands. Make a valentine out of construction paper, stick you thumb in ink, and make a heart shape with it. Then write “thumbody loves you!” or if your lyrically gifted, write them a song or poem. Hmm…. what other cheap tricks have I tried…. If theres a gas station near by, get a whole bunch of m&m’s, a cellphane bag (did I spell that right???) and dump the m&m’s in, then decorate the bag with hearts drawn with perminent marker, and grab a fake rose too. OH! Or a chocolate rose… sorry, I am thinking out loud what I should do because I’m in the same boat right now…
I understand. I am not able to drive so it is hard for me to buy my boy-friend a late card and gift.
I have to do it ahead of time. I like all of the idea’s above. They are excellent ones. How about a candle lit dinner? That can mean any kind of dinner you know. As long as you are sincere, whatever you do will be received well.

Several pizza places have a Valentine’s Day special that you can have delivered. It’s the thought that counts!
