Candle of the Month Club
My friend and I stopped over at her aunt's house to pick something up. When I stepped inside there was no doubt - this was the house of a Candle Person. She had candles tastefully displayed throughout the rooms.
Back in the car, my friend mentioned that her birthday was coming up and she had no idea what to get her.
I'd seen the Candle Club mentioned at Lastminute-Gifts.com, but wasn't really familiar with it. We went online to check it out. Here's our Q and A.
Q: What's a Candle Club?
A: Members of the Candle of the Month Club receive a monthly selection of specialty-made, premium candles from boutique candle makers nationwide.
Q: Okay, but do you have to sign up for a full year?
A: You can select plans for 3, 6 and 12 month clubs. There is also a Candle of the Season Club with new selections each spring, summer, fall and winter.
Q: How do they choose the candles?
A: Premium candles are selected by an evaluation team. The evaluators judge them for beauty, fragrance, seasonality and burn time. Only their favorites are judged acceptable for members.
Q: How do you let people know that you've gotten them this gift? Like, today?
A: The Speed Feature is the Gift Announcement. Choose an instant email announcement with checkout, or a printable announcement you can produce on your printer.
