Irish Potatoes for St. Patrick's Day

The Irish Potatoes Candy recipe is back on the DIY page, with complete instructions to make a Jar Gift. The candy looks like miniature potatoes and is perfect for St. Patrick's Day.

The recipe is a 21st century adaptation of an old family recipe. It's authentic (actually includes potatoes in the recipe), but made quick and easy by using instant potato flakes - no more standing over sinks scrubbing and peeling.

At this time of year, making the recipe is popular. The miniature 'spuds' are a big hit at St. Patrick's Day celebrations, and absolutely equal to the very pricey store-bought versions I've seen.

At other times, the Jar Gift is more popular. Assembly is quick and easy. You may be as creative as you like with decorations, of course. But if you need speed, the recipe, labels, even jar top decorations are all ready to print out.
The whole kit is available for instant download here on the DIY page.
